The population of Guinea-Bissau numbers 1.7 million people as of the 2019 census. The official language of the country is Portuguese but most people speak Bijago and Mandinka languages as well as pidgin English (derived from British English).

Iraq is a country in western Asia, with a population of 4.2 million people. Its capital city is Baghdad, and its official languages are Arabic and Kurdish.

The Iraqi flag features three green stars in an arc shape on a red background. This design was used as early as 1831, when it was flown by Sheikh Ahmed Kadhim al-Jabouri during an uprising against the Ottoman Empire. 

It has been recognized as the official flag of Iraq since 2004, but it wasn't until 2014 that all flags with religious symbols were banned from being flown at military locations or facilities around the country--which is why many pictures you'll see online have this one without them!

Kuwait

Kuwait is a country in Western Asia. It's bordered by Saudi Arabia to the south and Iraq to the north, with a small coastline on the Persian Gulf. The capital is Kuwait City, which also serves as its largest city (population 1.3 million).

Kuwait is the smallest Arab nation in terms of land area, but it has one of the highest standards of living worldwide because it's an oil-rich country. In fact, that's why it was under British rule until 1961: It was important for Britain to have access to its oil reserves!

Belarus is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe. It has a population of 9.5 million people and was formerly part of the Soviet Union.

The country has one national flag, but it also has different regional flags that represent different parts of the country.

Zambia

Benin

Benin has a green flag. Benin is a country in Africa. It is not one of the countries with a green flag that can be found on this list and it has no relation to any of the countries on this list and you should not think about it more than you already have done, because thinking about it too much will only make your brain hurt and be very confusing for you.

Benin was once called Dahomey, but changed its name to Benin after gaining independence from France in 1960 as part of an effort led by President Hubert Maga (1906-1987).

Pakistan has a population of 197 million people with an official language of Urdu. Islam is Pakistan's main religion. The largest city in Pakistan is Karachi followed by Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

Senegal

Senegal is a country in West Africa. It is bordered by Mauritania to the west, Mali to the east, Guinea to the southeast, and Guinea-Bissau to the southwest. Senegal covers an area of almost 196 000 square kilometers (75 000 sq mi) and has an estimated population of 14 million people as of 2017.

Senegal's economy is almost entirely dependent on agriculture and fishing; major crops include cotton and groundnuts (peanuts). Petroleum exploration began in 1967 but did not yield results for several decades—the first offshore oil was extracted in 2007 as part of a partnership with Chevron Corporation's African subsidiary. 

In 2012–13, Senegal engaged in an armed conflict with militant separatists belonging to the Movement of Democratic Forces of Casamance (MFDC).

Vanuatu

Vanuatu is an island nation in the South Pacific Ocean. The country has a population of about 281,000 and covers 464 square kilometers. The capital city is Port Vila and the official language is Bislama, a local pidgin language derived from English, French and other languages spoken by early European visitors to the islands.

Vanuatu became independent from France and Great Britain in 1980.

The Hungarian language is spoken by 95% of citizens and it's also used in education and administration throughout the land. For example: Hungarian forint is used as currency instead of US dollar or Euro.

Morocco

Morocco has been given the Green Flag by the World Health Organization since 2002. This means that the country meets all of WHO's environmental guidelines and is free of air pollution, as well as ensuring that its citizens have access to clean water.

It is one of only three countries—along with Finland and Iceland—to receive this distinction, which was awarded because it was one of 100 countries to apply for it in 2003.

The flag itself is actually striped green rather than plain green, but we'll get back to that later!

Mexico

Mexico is a country in North America. It is bordered by the United States to the north, Guatemala and Belize to the southeast, the Caribbean to the east, and the Pacific Ocean to the west. 

Mexico has a coastline of over 2,000 kilometers along both Pacific and Gulf coasts. The main cities are: Ciudad de México (the capital), Guadalajara, Monterrey; Puebla; Toluca.

Mexico has a population of around 123 million people as of 2019[1][2] but this figure may increase due to immigration from other countries like China.[3] As such it is one of two states that make up Americas' largest Spanish speaking nation (along with Colombia). 

Spanish is spoken by almost all inhabitants here so if you want to learn some basic phrases before going there then start today!

Nigeria

The flag of Nigeria is a horizontal tricolor of green, white and green, with a small red triangle located in the center of the white band. 

The green represents the country's natural resources, white stands for peace and unity, while red is symbolic of courage and determination. The flag was adopted on independence day September 1st, 1957.

Bulgaria

Bulgaria is the easternmost country of the European Union. It's a member of NATO and has been since 2004. 

Its capital city is Sofia, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. Bulgaria's official languages are Bulgarian and Turkish, but English is also common in business circles because it's one of their most popular second languages to learn.

Lithuania

It is the only country in the world with a green flag. The country was ranked 10th in the 2018 Environmental Performance Index, having improved its score by 11 points since 2012.

The Lithuanian flag is green because it symbolizes the importance of forests to their economy and culture. The three trees stand for strength, power, and wisdom.

Syria

Syria is a country in the Middle East, bordered by Lebanon and the Mediterranean Sea to the west, Turkey to the north, Iraq to the east, Jordan to the south and Israel to the southwest.

Syria has been in a state of war since 2011 when thousands of civilians began protesting against President Bashar al-Assad's regime that soon turned into an all-out civil war with millions displaced inside and outside Syria.

Dominica

Dominica is a sovereign island country in the Caribbean Sea, located between Guadeloupe and Martinique.

It has a population of 72,047 (July 2007 estimate) and an area of 750 km². The capital is Roseau; Dominica's economy is based on sugar cane cultivation, more than 60% of which goes to make rum. The island has been nicknamed "Nature Isle" due to its lush vegetation and impressive scenery. In fact, with more than 50 percent covered by forested land, Dominica boasts the second largest hot spring in the world!

Kenya

Kenya was the first country to have a green flag. The green color represents Kenya's lush vegetation and natural beauty, while the white star represents peace and unity.

The flag's design is also meant to symbolize Kenya’s diversity: black people make up 45-50% of its population, while a significant number of white Europeans also live there.

Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is a sovereign state in Western Asia constituting the bulk of the Arabian Peninsula. 

With a land area of approximately 2,150,000 km2 (830,000 sq mi), Saudi Arabia is geographically the largest sovereign state on Earth. 

It is bordered by Jordan and Iraq to the north, Kuwait to the northeast, Qatar, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates in the East Persian Sea to the east and Oman to its south by the Arabian Sea.

Saudi Arabia has vast reserves of oil and natural gas with production exceeding 10 million barrels per day.

Burundi

Burundi is a country in East Africa. It is bordered by Rwanda to the north, Tanzania to the east and south, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west. 

With a population estimate of about 10 million people as of 2018, it is one of Africa's least populated countries. Its size is roughly twice that of Maine with an area covering just over 27,000 square miles (70,700 km2). The capital city is Bujumbura.

Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is a country in South Asia. It is located about 31 kilometers (19 miles) off the southern coast of India and separated from the mainland by the Gulf of Mannar and Palk Strait. The capital, Colombo, is situated on Sri Lanka's south west coast and largest commercial center.

Although it has a rich history, with evidence of human habitation dating back at least 130,000 years, it also has a lot to offer visitors today. 

The country is home to many beautiful beaches and wildlife reserves as well as natural wonders such as caves and mountains that can be explored on foot or by boat; whether you're looking for adventure or relaxation there are plenty of things to do here!

Comoros is a group of islands in the Indian Ocean. The island nation is a republic with an elected president and legislature. Comoros has a population of 790,000 people and a land area of 2,235 square kilometers (854 square miles).

Rwanda

Rwanda is a landlocked country in east-central Africa. It is bordered by Uganda, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania and Zambia.

The capital city of Rwanda is Kigali. The population of Rwanda was estimated at 11 million people in 2019 according to UBS Global Wealth Management.

Namibia

Namibia is a landlocked country in southern Africa. The country has a population of 2.1 million people, with about 70 percent living in rural areas. Namibia's capital city is Windhoek, which lies on the edge of the Great Escarpment, a massive continental divide that runs from east to west across central Africa.

The economy of Namibia relies heavily on mining—it contributes over one-third of the country's GDP—but tourism and agriculture are also important contributors to its revenue stream.

Mali

Mali is a country located in West Africa. In French, the name means "land of the poets". With a population of 19 million people, Mali has the 23rd largest population in the world. The total area is 1,240,192 square kilometers (478,500 sq mi).

Mali is bordered by Mauritania and Senegal on its north; Algeria on its east; Niger on its south-east; Burkina Faso and Cote d’Ivoire to its south-west; Guinea to its west and Guinea Bissau to its north-west.

Tanzania

Tanzania is a country in East Africa. It is bordered by Kenya and Uganda to the north; Rwanda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west; Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique to the south; and the Indian Ocean to the east.

The name Tanzania is derived from "Tanzania," a Swahili word for "hippopotamus", which exists in many other languages as well.

Jamaica

Jamaica doesn't have its own currency, but instead uses the US dollar as legal tender.

Jamaica became independent from Great Britain in 1962, but remains a member of the Commonwealth of Nations today - this means it still has Queen Elizabeth II as head of state!

Jamaica is an English speaking country and official languages are English, Spanish, Chinese Mandarin and Garifuna Creole (a dialect spoken by descendants of African slaves).

Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan is a country in Central Asia. It is bordered by Kazakhstan to the northwest, Kyrgyzstan to the north and east, Tajikistan to the southeast, Afghanistan to the south, and Turkmenistan to the southwest.

Uzbekistan has a diverse climate with cold winters and hot summers. It has rich natural resources such as gold and uranium deposits.

Libya

Libya is a country in North Africa. Its official name is the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya. It has a population of 6,878,760 and its capital is Tripoli.

Cameroon

It is one of the most densely populated countries in Africa. Cameroon has a tropical climate with two distinct seasons: dry and rainy seasons. In March, Cameroon celebrates its independence day on March 20th every year.

As a developing nation, Cameroon relies heavily on agriculture for its economy; it is one of the world’s largest exporters of bananas (a popular crop) and palm oil tree nuts (also known as kernels or fruits). The country exports cocoa beans and coffee beans to other countries as well.

Bangladesh

Bangladesh is a country in South Asia. It sits between the Eastern Himalayas and the Bay of Bengal, and has an area of 147,570 square miles (380,552 km2). Bangladesh has a population of 163 million people.

Bangladesh has four seasons: winter (December to February), summer (March to June), monsoon season (July to September) and post-monsoon season(October to November). The climate varies from tropical at the coastal areas along the Bay of Bengal to humid subtropical in north-western parts towards the Himalayan foothills.

The capital of Bangladesh is Dhaka where you can find many attractions such as Lalbagh Fort, Ramna Park and Science Centre. Other popular places include Chittagong for its beaches and Cox’s Bazaar for its coral reefs

Sudan

Sudan is a country in the Middle East, located in North Africa. It borders Egypt to the north, Ethiopia to the east and South Sudan to the south. The Red Sea lies on its western coast. Sudan has an area of 2,505,820 square kilometers (973,828 sq mi).

It was once home to many great ancient civilizations and empires including those of Nubia, Meroë and Axum. Stone Age societies first settled in what is now northern Sudan between 3400 BC and 1500 BC; by 1000 BC they were joined by other people migrating from East Africa who introduced iron working technology into the region.[4] During classical antiquity there were several kingdoms within modern-day Sudan or northern Sudan that were active for hundreds of years during which time trade flourished through their ports.

Sierra Leone

The Green Flag is a symbol of the country's commitment to sustainable development. It was adopted in 2007 and designed by a group of students from the University of Sierra Leone.

The flag is made up of three horizontal stripes: green, white and red (the colors of Africa). The green stripe represents peace, hope and fertility. The white strip symbolizes purity, honesty and freedom from oppression. The red depicts bravery, unity and love for one another.

Portugal

Portugal is a country in southwestern Europe. It is the westernmost country of mainland Europe and is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the west and south and by Spain to the north and east. The country has its origins in the Lusitanian people, which settled in the region of modern-day Portugal.

Portugal has one of the oldest constitutional monarchies still in existence today, dating from 1139 A.D., when Afonso Henriques was crowned King of Portugal as a result of his victory over his mother's forces at São Mamede, during which he killed her lover with his own hands before having them cut off so that they could never hold power again.

United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a country located in the Middle East. It has a green flag, making it one of the few countries with this color. The UAE is also a member of the United Nations and the Arab League. The capital city is Abu Dhabi, which has over 1 million people living there.

The population of UAE is close to 9 million people and it's growing fast!

South Sudan

South Sudan is a country in East Africa that gained independence in 2011. It was previously part of Sudan, and the capital city is Juba. South Sudan covers an area of 923,500 square kilometers (356,600 sq mi) and has an estimated population of 16 million.

Djibouti

Djibouti's flag is a horizontal tricolor of red, white and green with a yellow star in the center. The red represents the struggle for independence from France, the white stands for peace, unity and harmony among Djiboutians, while green symbolises Islam which is the state religion of Djibouti.

The flag was adopted on 27th June 1977 after it gained independence from France.

Maldives

The Maldives is a country in Asia. The Maldives is not just a country, it’s also a destination. And as such, it has a Green Flag. The Green Flag is awarded to countries that have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in sustainable tourism and environmental protection. 

The criteria for receiving the award are numerous and include things like waste management, wastewater treatment and biodiversity protection.

Bolivia

Bolivia is a country in the central part of South America, bordered by Brazil to the north and east, Paraguay and Argentina to the south, Chile to the southwest and Peru to the west.

Bolivia has an area of 1,098,575 km2 (424,181 sq mi) which makes it larger than Romania or Ukraine. The population is estimated at 10 million people with major cities including: La Paz (administrative capital), Santa Cruz de la Sierra (main industrial center) and Cochabamba (economic center).

Ghana

Ghana is a country in West Africa. It is bordered by Ivory Coast and Togo to the east, Burkina Faso to the north, and Mali to the northwest. Ghana has a population of about 25 million people.

Ghana's economy depends on gold, cocoa and timber exports as well as foreign aid from international financial institutions such as the World Bank. Some of these loans have been controversial due to concerns about how they were spent or misused by corrupt officials in charge at that time (like Nkrumah).

Gambia

The Gambia is a country in West Africa. It is surrounded by Senegal with a very small portion of its territory bordering the Atlantic Ocean at its western end.

The Gambia is part of the African Union, the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), and a member of the Commonwealth of Nations. The capital city and largest urban area is Banjul, which has a population of 1,010,000 people (as at 2018).

Gabon

Gabon is a country in Central Africa. Its capital is Libreville and its official language is French. Gabon borders Equatorial Guinea to the northwest, Cameroon to the north, Republic of the Congo on the east, and the Gulf of Guinea to the west.

 It has an area of 110,000 km² (42,000 sq mi) with a population estimated at 1.5 million people (2010). The climate of Gabon is tropical using a measure called Trewartha that applies across most of equatorial Africa.

Gabon's economy depends mainly on oil exports; however it also has important gold mines that are among Africa's largest producers .

Mozambique

It has a long coastline with 2,448 km of beaches and is home to some of the continent's most beautiful beaches. The capital is Maputo and its currency is metallic (MZN).

Mozambique has a long history of conflict but this changed when an independent government was established in 1975. Today, Mozambique is considered one of Africa’s most stable nations because it is still peaceful despite having experienced civil wars since its independence from Portugal in 1975.

Algeria

Algeria, a country in Africa with a green flag, has three red stripes on its flag. The first stripe is at the top of the flag and starts right below where it meets in the middle. The second and third stripes are underneath this first one and are both about half as wide as it.

Algeria's flag was adopted on November 3rd, 1962. It was created after Algeria became independent from France in 1962 and took inspiration from Morocco's flag design at that time.

Malawi

Malawi is a country in southern Africa. It has a population of 20 million people and is landlocked. Its capital city is Lilongwe and its official languages are English and Chichewa.

Oman

The flag of Oman is a green rectangle with a white vertical stripe on the hoist side, and a black two-headed eagle in the center. The width-to-length ratio is 2:3.

The flag was adopted on November 18, 1996. It is similar to flags of Andorra, Serbia, Chad and Ireland in that it has a red cross on it; however it is different from those flags because all four are split into 4 parts instead of 3 like most other Christian crosses (i.e., the Maltese Cross).

Oman's flag also contains some additional symbolism that makes its meaning more complex than just being Christian-inspired: The cross represents the religion of Islam (commonly called "Abrahamic" faiths since they all trace themselves back to Abraham); while its presence at least implies that this country accepts people from other religions who might live there as well; Most importantly though is probably how much this design resembles Byzantine Empire's symbol which used Greek letters alpha & omega inside a circle representing eternity or everlastingness — something many Christians believe will occur after Jesus returns again someday

Seychelles

Seychelles is a country in Africa, located on the island of Madagascar. The country was first discovered by Portuguese sailors in 1502, and it was later colonized by France beginning in 1609. In 1976, Seychelles gained independence from France. 

Today, Seychelles is a member of the Commonwealth of Nations and its capital city is Victoria. It also has a currency called Seychellois Rupee as well as an official language called English.
