Composter villager Minecraft

Composters are blocks that, when provided with Bonemeal, will convert nearby plant life and foodstuffs into Compost. This compost can be used as an alternative to Stone Fertilizer, dropped from tall grass, or dropped by a Parrot. They also serve as the job site for farmer villagers.

The composter is planned to be found in village tool sheds. Composters are craftable in Minecraft. To make a composter, you have to set seven of any sort of wood chunks into a U shape on your crafting table with the top and center cells open.

You can make wooden pieces by setting three wooden boards in the crafting table, along the baseline.

Composters are used in the farming process of Minecraft and can be used to speed it up greatly. They do not have an "official" use other than farming, and can't be traded with villagers.

In addition, it has an inventory at the bottom left with an output chest inside. This means that when you can harvest from a composter, you can also put things in it as well.

Composters likewise can spawn in all villages.

Required Materials to build Composter

You want to build a composter on Minecraft but you don’t know the necessary items. Say, for example, “luminous mushwood” or “emerald ore”; you’re not really sure what they do.

That is why I’ve created this list of materials that are needed to craft a composter. This way, if you don’t have any luminous mushwood, or just want to build a composter regardless, then you know which items you can gather.

How to Use Composters in Minecraft?

Composters are special blocks that allow placing of food or plants into it to make bone meal. Recycling would reduce the items being dropped to 1 so it would save a lot of space.

However, composters cannot be used to smelt items and are instead used to process 10 items into 5 bone meals.

A composter is a special kind of container added by the mod Immersive Engineering. It can be given any of 3 tiers of upgrades which transform it into a larger, more efficient and powerful version.

The third upgrade is the synthesis pack which has 6 compartments for each type of ingredient, browns, greens and whites. Hovering over the compartments displays whether they are empty, almost full or mostly full.

Additional info about Composter

Podzol is the dirt block that nearly covers the surface of giant tree taiga biomes. It also generates in bamboo jungle under thick overgrowth, making it a type of grass block.

Podzol has neither the properties nor the texture of regular Dirt and Grass blocks--you can use it to dye Wool of any color except white (which will be dyed podzol-color instead). Podzol also cannot be turned into Mycelium, and Grass blocks cannot spread to it.

3 Things You Can Do with Composter in Minecraft

1-Bone Meals

To make Bone Meal, you’ll need at least 5 Cow Bones or 3 Skeleton Skulls. Crafting together a Feather and Coal will also be beneficial. Place them in the Composter to start making Bone Meal.

Once you have the composting process started, it will take around a few days to complete. When it’s done, you can remove Bone Meal using a Shovel.

2- Use as a Wooden Fuel

You can use composters as a fuel in the Blast Furnace. Just place 4 composters in the Fuel slot and you will get 6 smelted items or cooked food items(After smelting/cooking it becomes 6 pieces of an item).

This strategy is very important when starting a new game, especially when you're short of time and need to get some good weapons quickly.

3. Use as an Iron Farm

It will use all of the materials in the crafting table inventory slots, including any enchantments, and produce a single item out of all of them each time you click on the composter with a piece of charcoal to fuel it.

The output item is selected at random from among those materials which can yield appropriate results.

If you like randomness and surprises this mod will make your zombies become part of an iron farm or to build farms with special purpose for farming villages for breeding. Another surprise may be getting a sandstone sword from wooden tools and a slab of meat!

Composts List

Composts are like levels for the composter. You can dump compost, then level up the composter to gain more XP (Compost XP).

As you add composts to the composter, the number of XP received will increase by 10% for each level. It is possible to get composts from killing villagers, but if you are looking for them at late game stages that is almost impossible and there is pollution involved.
