Palettes
The flag consists of three horizontal stripes in a row: Indian saffron (#FF9933), white (#FFFFFF) and Indian green (#138808).
In the middle is the blue Ashoka Wheel with 24 teeth. The saffron color symbolizes courage, green symbolizes agriculture and white symbolizes peace.
The flag was designed by Pingali Venkayya, taking inspiration from Mahatma Gandhi's Swadeshi flag, which represents India's struggle for freedom.
