Calling every sea turtle green hides most of what is visible. Ridley shells can lean Dark Olive Green or Olive, while adult green turtles often appear mottled brown above; their common name comes from body fat, not shell color.

Loggerheads bring Saddle Brown and Sienna into the range. Khaki suits pale undersides, and Dark Slate Gray belongs to the darker appearance of leatherbacks and many young turtles. This is variation across species, not a single specimen.
