Dark Red #8B0000 and White #FFFFFF establish the endpoints. Between them, the sequence follows individually named colors instead of regular additions of white. Firebrick and Crimson change the red channel as well as green and blue; Light Coral makes a large jump in both lighter channels; Misty Rose nearly reaches white while keeping a warm bias. Together, the six standardized names form an intentionally uneven warm-to-pale progression.
