Many brands from New York have become famous around the world. But Shake Shack is perhaps the most famous among them.

There are different kinds of fame. Some celebrities are looked down upon. Some are hated. But not everyone is lucky enough to remain famous while maintaining their reputation.

I realize I'm saying something very cliché, but Shake Shack is definitely one of those places.

Compared to other fast food chains, it made a very young and modest start.

A hot dog cart in Madison Square Park turned into a world-famous hamburger joint in 22 years.

And its colors, green and black, spread around the world at the same speed.

Seeing green might not immediately make everyone think of Shake Shack, but when it comes to hamburgers, it's definitely one of the recommended brands.
