Psychedelic Purple sits at the loud edge of violet. It behaves more like colored light than paint.

Screens reproduce Psychedelic Purple with an intensity that ordinary printing may not match. A physical project should be proofed on its final stock before the color carries a critical signal.
Electric Purple can extend the glow across a digital gradient. Yellow Chartreuse should appear in smaller bursts, giving posters tension without sacrificing hierarchy.
The name is often connected with phlox purple and the fluorescent color culture of the late twentieth century. On a dark screen it seems to emit light. In print, that same intensity depends heavily on the ink and paper.
